I sent your Hammond, LA team including parts manager Marie Jones and warranty manager Matt Gardebled an email about items missing from the brand new 2016 Fleetwood Pace Arrow LXE I purchased from your Hammond store last November 26th.
I was having issues with Fleetwood caring enough to help me. Well I now realize my mistake was not coming to Dixie RV in the first place. Marie Jones was amazing with how quickly she responded and had already ordered the missing parts. All of this within an hour or so. After a few follow-up emails with Marie I was well on my way to having the "great week" that she wished me to have. I hope you know how much easier she makes your job. Good employees have a way of doing that and she's obviously one of them.
Also, a few months ago Fleetwood and Freightliner was not showing me as the new owner to necessitate some minor warranty issues. Once again, I email Matt Gardebled your warranty manager and his response was quick as well. He assured me he had put out inquiries to both Fleetwood and Freightliner for answers. Within a day Matt emailed me and said it was taken care of and I would be in both systems as the new owner as soon as they could update them. Mission accomplished in a total of 2 days. Something Freightliner and Fleetwood couldn't do in two months. My hat's off to Matt as well.
So why do I think you should know all of this you ask. I believe if I copy the President of a company about issues in hopes it would motivate those working for him or her to get positive results, I should also let that President know the outcome good or bad. To steal an old line from the Sears catalogs years ago; "good, better or best"....Dixie RV has proven to me to be the BEST.
I have no doubts now that even had I not copied you on my original email I would have received the same results from you staff. You sir and your staff have earned the title "Super Store", wear it proudly.
As a business owner myself, I like to hear from my customers on behalf of the customer service they have received after choosing to purchase a product through my company.. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Thor Motorcoach from Dixie RV in Defuniak Springs in the summer of 2016. This was our first brand new RV purchase in our life and we were very excited about the future camping trips we were going to get to enjoy with our two young kids. To be honest, the experience we had imagined before we purchased this RV and the reality of what has transpired over the last 8 months are complete polar opposites!
We battled “leak” issues for the first six months and had two camping trips turn into nightmares when we were stuck in a leaking RV during these monsoons. The irony of this is my wife and I choose to purchase a new RV instead of a used RV because we were worried about a used RV not being taken care of properly and getting stuck with a used RV which had roof issues. This was a major point of frustration for us since we purchased this RV.
I'm writing you today to inform you of the remarkable professionalism and amazing customer service we have received during this last 8 months from the service manager Eric Thomas. Eric has been tremendous! He has worked hard and diligently to get our RV problems resolved with minimal inconvenience to our everyday lives! I have no doubt that without the assistance of Eric, You would have already received communication from me and it would not have been a compliment letter!
Eric is such an asset to your company. You probably already know this, but I wanted to make sure he received some type of recognition for the service he has continued to provide to my family. I'm so impressed with his service that when my wife and I are ready for our next RV, I will seek out to find where Eric is working. I will be purchasing my RV from this dealership. This is how valuable Eric is in my opinion!

Since we purchased at the show in September, we were happy to work with Ray Clark and Andrew Mixon, initially. Jim Taylor served as an interim salesperson once we started the process, and aptly helped direct us to the appropriate experts when we had many questions.
Mary Mason is amazing. She has such a great amount of knowledge that she shared, and when we had questions that stretched her, she aggressively found the answers and the products to match our needs. Her availability was so valuable. She is a gem.
Eric Thomas backed her up when she wasn't able to connect with us, and put our minds at ease. Kendall kept us busy with product suggestions and answers while last minute requests were being installed by Jason and Mike Ellis. Before we left Atlanta, Jason did a great job with the generator. Once we arrived in Florida for pickup, Mike Ellis was above and beyond when he installed the last-minute washer/dryer and then stayed after dark giving us a thorough delivery walk-through.
Not to leave these two out: Chad Picone and Ryan Walsh were both professional, thorough and patient during our finance experience, answering our many question. Thank You.
I must add that after nine months of research and visiting many RV dealerships, and then buying at a show (and never actually visiting Dixie RV's Defuniak location) I would be remiss not to mention that both my husband and I noticed a very nice culture at your store. That feeling only comes from good leadership of a team. From the time we were greeted at the door to the overnight you allowed us, to drive to our first campsite the next day after a little practice towing in the huge parking lot -- we want to thank everyone involved and send a note of appreciation.

I love the Grand Design RV that I got from Dixie RV and the service for the past 2 years has been great.
Myra, my service writer was kind enough to adjust the schedule to have the annual inspection done on my Winnebago Tour when I had an unexpected change in my personal schedule. Arriving 4 hours late for the appointment she was able to get the service tech to jump on my motorhome and as promised the entire inspection was done in an hour which allowed me the time I needed to pick up a customer at the airport as promised.

Maybe I should direct this letter to the sales manager or someone under you, but I felt I needed to talk to you.
My wife and I are close to retirement and we are trying to purchase a nice coach. The one we want is a 2016 Tiffin 45op. I visited Dixie RV in Hammond La while on vacation to see my daughter who lives in New Orleans a few months back. I meet with a salesman there, and his name is Aaron Green. I know you are a busy man so I'll try and be brief as I can.
Mr. Green has be working with me for about 2 months now trying to get me what I want and what I can afford. He has worked very very hard trying to please me in ever way and close the deal on what I want and he's been very professional and is very educated on these coaches. He has always been available and has returned all my calls and texts and has answers any and all questions I have had from payments to how much it would take to maintain a coach of this caliber.
He has worked hard on two coaches; first a 2016 tiffin 45 OP, and then a 2016 Pheaton 44 OH. I was trading in a 2013 truck with a 2014 fifth wheel. He offered me top dollar on them and gave me a good deal on the coaches. My budget was a little off for these coaches so we've decided to wait and save up a little more money so I can get the Tiffin 45 OP maybe 12 to 24 months from now.
Because of Aaron Green I will be buying one from him when I buy. It's not his fault I didn't purchase one this time around, it was my budget. I just wanted to bring to your attention that he is a great salesman and your Rv lot there is top of the line, very clean and lots of coaches to choose from, great inventory.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and although I didn't buy this time, I promise I will be back to see him and I'll spread the word on what a great place you have there. I hope he gets some kind of recognition for his hard work. Again, it wasn't his fault. He has made me a life long customer. I will be glade to drive 7 hours to deal with him--he's that good.

Hi, I just want to let you know about the excellent customer service we received last week at the Dixie RV in Hammond. We had a stress crack on the side of the RV. We tried to have it fixed at the dealer we purchased from, but for some reason they were not able to fix it. We travel full-time and were passing through Louisiana and decided to try to get it fixed at Dixie. I could not be happier with the service we received!
Before bringing it in, we had a few other issues come up that needed to be fixed and also decided to have the annual maintenance/inspection service completed at the same time. Erin Bernard was wonderful to work with. She kept in contact with me the whole time while it was being serviced and kept me updated on the status. We stayed in a hotel during the week it was in the shop so we were anxious for it to be ready so we could get back on the road. Once it was ready on Friday it was a little too late to travel so Erin said we could stay in one of the sites on your property which we gladly did. It was really nice to be able to stay there for the night rather than find someplace else to stay.
Anyway, everything was completed to perfection on the RV while it was there, and we were happy to be back on the road. You restored our faith in RV service centers as we have not had good experiences receiving service until now. Next time we need anything done we will hopefully be close enough to bring it to you. And next time we're in the market for a new RV you can be sure we'll come to you. You have just made a customer for life. Thank you to Dixie and Erin and everyone else that helped to get our RV fixed and back on the road last week!
My wife and I spent over 3 months searching and researching the perfect RV for us. Part of that equation was investigating the dealership. This was our first time purchasing an RV so we were cautious. We are big on customer service and honest feedback. We visited several RV dealerships in the area and we left our contact information with all of them. We had several other dealership criteria that I won't go into now...but our ranking is as follows: 1 - Dixie RV; 2 - Berryland; 3 - It really doesn't matter...the rest were all the same. We were pleased with every facet of the purchasing endeavor with Dixie to informing us about the RVs, negotiating a fair price, working the paper work, allowing us to spend a night on lot, the hitch guy made sure we knew how to hook up the hitch and even came back to ensure we were sure! Everything so far has been outstanding! We bought our first RV from Dixie RV in Hammond, great experience! I highly recommend them! Your employee Heather Senn was a dream to work with. She made our experience so painless. I believe she was just as excited as we were when the loan was approved. We had been researching this unit for months and she made sure that we got what we wanted. I do consider her as part of our extended family now. Also, I'd like to acknowledge the delivery man Chirs. (I'm not sure of his last name.) He had his work cut out for him getting this big 5th wheel into a very tight spot. We stopped at the Hammond location at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning with an issue with a awning on our coach. It wouldn't close all the way. We had no appointment; however, Larry Hill said no problem and pulled our coach in the shop. Mike Mayeaux adjusted the awning and had us on our way in minutes. By far these two guys were the best I have ever dealt with. This dealership didn't ask where I bought my coach like all others do, they knew we had a problem and took care of it. Eric: It was a pleasure meeting you and members of your staff, Bob Lindsey and technician, Wilson.
As you may have heard, we had a horrible experience with warranty service at Windish RV in Longmont, Colorado -- causing us to delay travels to a family wedding and absorb over $1000 out of pocket, as well as serious customer service concerns with Grand Design, the manufacturer of our 2014 Solitude 5th Wheel. ALL of this was due to nothing other than negligence, poor communication, and the worst customer service we have ever experienced.
We are seasoned travellers who make every effort to extend the benefit of doubt, play by the rules and remain flexible. All of these basic concepts were totally destroyed by Windish service department. We were misled -- dare we say what it really was -- lied to. Whether or not it was intentional remains unclear, but had the service representative followed up on what he believed to true, he would have uncovered the problem and taken measures to correct it. This background is provided to say this.
Walking into DixieRV was like 'Coming home to the South' -- the only thing missing was sweet potato pie in the oven : ) Your entire organization reflects an atmosphere of welcoming, professional and friendly customer service.
The service for which we brought our unit in for was exemplary from start to finish. We were given a specific and exact plan for work to be completed. Information was correct. Updates were almost daily. Changes to scheduling was communicated immediately. Work was completed as stated. ALL work was completed as promised -- i.e., no excuses for even the most minor details. Bob Lindsey was this customer's advocate from start to finish. He knows his business and ensured his ducks were in a row before he communicated to us -- no slips, no errors.
When we picked up our unit, we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to meet your RV technician, Wilson. It was evident that the communcation between the Bob and Wilson was clear and concise allowing for a stellar performance by all. They went above and beyond in their inspection of our unit and communicated items that we weren't aware off -- correcting them all. They worked in concert with each other, providing the best completed service to the customer. Thank you! You and your staff are to be commended! You have been instrumental in restoring our confidence in Grand Design and customer service.
Dixie RV not only met, but exceeded all expectations. We plan to schedule our travels to have service completed by Dixie RV. And, you can be sure thaat when we're ready to trade for the Class A, Dixie RV is at the top of our list!

The Finance and Insurance manager was thorough – even though later we would disagree on what was said of price of extended service plan. We came there with an outline of our "DREAM UNIT" not expecting to purchase at all because our requirements were quite stringent. From the first minute we walked in to your store we were treated with respect, sincerity and professionalism from every member of the Team.
We were introduced to Levi, who accepted our challenge and very quickly identified a unit that met our criteria (albeit - at the upper range). He explained the unit was just accepted as a trade and hasn't been reviewed or gone over by Maintenance. He assured us DIXIE RV would not present a unit for sale if it was not of high quality. So, we said "What the heck, let's look at it." Long story short, the unit was in excellent condition, the floor plan was ideal and we decided we wanted to take a test ride. After the test drive and a bit of "back & forth" on the price, Dixie RV gave us an offer we could not turn down. The PRICE WAS RIGHT & the UNIT WAS OUR DREAM!
As with any major purchase, this one had a few glitches. Have no fears, Dixie RV hit home runs at every at bat. (remember all this was prior to any inspection by your Maintenance/Service/Detail Teams).
a) during the test drive I noticed the engine felt sluggish, as if the parking brake was still on - the unit was eventually sent to an outside repair shop for diagnoses and repaired.
b) the entry door step did not work automatically - Levi had a Technician replace the step motor before the test drive.
c) it was noticed the caulking around the roof edges was suspect - fixed
d) one of the window blinds in the slide had a broken tension cord - this could not be repaired before delivery and a new one has been purchased and we agreed to have it sent to us and we would install it.
All of these issues were addressed and when the Maintenance/Service/Detail Teams had the opportunity to perform their duties, the unit was immaculate.
The day of our "Walk Thru", we were greeted at the door by name. Amazing! From the time we arrived for our appointment to the time we drove off with our unit, we waited for nothing. A Dixie RV Associate was at our side taking us to the next step in the process and asking if we needed anything at all. Again, AMAZING! AMAZING!

On Aug. 27th,2014, my wife and I stopped at Dixie RV in Florida because we were having brake problems on our camper. It was just after noon and Bob Lindsey said when the men returned from lunch they would look at it. The problem turned out to be quite serious with shorted out wires, plug, and brake controller. The work was completed in a very timely manner by Chris G. and Doug R. and VERY MUCH to our satisfaction. Our dogs ( Ruby and Pearl) were also happy that you left them wait inside with us and for the drink of water.
I had my dealer back home look at my brakes 3 times in two years because they never seemed to work as good as I thought they should have. You told me that you would not let me leave until the brakes worked REALLY good and you were not kidding, for the rest of the journey home the trailer had the BEST brakes ever since I bought the trailer in 2007!!. My only regret is that we don't live closer, so that Dixie RV could do any and all the work we would ever need on any of our trailers. I want to pass on a great big thank you and appreciation to Bob Lindsey, Service Manager, at DIXIE RV, Florida. Wow! This man cares and he lives servant-leadership in his customer service. Every contact I have had with him has been superb, professional, and I leave happy. We purchased a pull trailer last spring and there was a significant problem with the stabilizer put on the trailer.
I realized this from the beginning but I could not get anyone to 'see' what I was seeing. We took a 6000 mile trip across America and the stabilizer soon became a very huge safety issue. Bob realized the problem right away, ensured the problem was fixed, apologized over and over, and ensured that my experience which could have been tragic became great. You need men like him! He probably made you even more money because when it comes time to trade, Dixie RV will be my place of destination. I can trust you because Bob stands by your reputation.
Furthermore, Bob placed your best mechanic on my trailer. He was fantastic...told me what was wrong (the whole hitch had been placed on incorrectly), walked me through how it should properly work, and apologized that we had to experience such poor service previously. Stephen, my name is Byron Fontenot. I have been using Dixie RV for service work for the last nine years. For the last six years on a 2008 Newmar 39 foot Country Star that I bought from your company, and before that on a 38 foot Monaco Windsor.
I have been dealing almost exclusively with Jonathan Beasley. Your other service people, CJ, and Trace have been very helpful when I dealt with them. But I must tell you that Jonathan goes the extra mile trying to help his customers.
A case in point, I had a trip planned for Destin on June 11. Three weeks before the trip I had a slide out motor fail. I brought it in for parts order, then back the next week for placement but had to order more parts, then back the next week for complete repairs in time for the trip. Jonathan stayed on top of this for three weeks and got the work finished.
I am a retired dentist. I appreciate that businesses hear a lot of complaints and a few compliments every now and then. I compliment your service department for their work, but especially Jonathan. He is an asset to your business, and is one reason that I will continue to use Dixie RV.

I wanted to send you a note to thank you for your cooperation during our recent purchase of a 2015 Spartan RV. You were reasonable with the insurance company and the deal was comfortable for everyone. In addition, our sales advisor Heather Senn was helpful along the way from our first meeting and several visits to make our decision sound and informed. She insisted on giving us her cell number "just in case." Well, we needed it and she responded to our situation. The Dixie phone bank was down due to a severe weather issue, and it was 82 in our new RV.
We used the Heather "Hot Line" and she handled the problem by contacting the service department and explained that this unit was only several days old and was our home. We received a call within minutes and a tech was scheduled to come the next day and make the problems go away. She went the extra step and followed up on the repair and was always concerned that Dixie was providing all that they promised during the purchase process. You should be proud that all of your staff meetings regarding customer service are being applied and appreciated.

My husband, Louis, and I would like to compliment Ms. Karla Lacara for the outstanding job she does. She just constantly goes over and above what we have come to expect from other RV service personnel and she is always so pleasant to be around, with a quick laugh and such a genial attitude!
We travel frequently and have had many, many dealings with getting service work done all over the United States and she is by far the very best.
Ms. Karla will get the unit in to be worked on as fast as she can and keeps us updated every step of the way. This is so helpful to us and no doubt every customer since it’s impossible to make travel plans if you don’t know when you’ll get your RV back.
If she or her technician notice an unrelated issue from what we brought the unit in for she will contact us to let us know so we can decide what to do. From something as simple as a loose door latch to a compartment light that doesn’t work to a major battery issue they always do a thorough check for us to make sure everything is in tip top shape before returning it. Most places will only fix what you bring it in for and they could be stepping over a frayed, bare, sparking shore cable and wouldn’t mention it.
My husband works overseas so I don’t have a way to pick up the RV after the service work is completed (generally we take it in for service while he’s home) and Ms. Karla will bring the unit back to me. It always arrives in spotless condition, inside and out, with the exterior freshly washed and the inside thoroughly cleaned. And, with the size of our unit, I know that is no small thing!
After delivery Ms Karla consistently follows up with an email to make sure we’ve tried all of the systems and items we had it in for repair for and are satisfied that everything is working.
This unique attention to detail is what makes Ms. Karla so exceptional at her job and what makes us appreciate her so very much.

I am late in sending this e-mail but as they say you address problems faster than compliments. This is definitely a compliment! We own a Vantage RV made by KeyStone. We live in Abbeville so it was more convenient for us to go to Southern RV in Lafayette to have some warranty work done. He recommended trailers that met our interests; did a thorough job of showing them with a lot of good advice. He came in on his off day, obviously while he was sick, to make sure our pickup went smoothly, We came back after five days with a few minor time to fix. Keith was the Technician who gave us our walk-through. He was very knowlegable about the unit, thorough & systematic in his walk-through! He emphasized the things to do & NOT to DO! Told us about procedures to follow & things that would help protect our investment. He was also very patient with our 1st time owners questions! As a previous salesman in the automotive aftermarket I have known & worked with a lot of Technicians. Many were very knowledgable about the work they did. Few were both knowledgable & able to interact well with the customer. Keith is one of those few!
When we entered Dixie RV on 05-02-2013 we had no intention to buy a motorhome that day! Clay Kruse was our Salesperson. I have dealt with very few Salespersons who were as outstanding & professional as Clay! He was very knowledgeable on his products. Very patient with our many question. He was very thorough in explaining benefits of the Allegro. Did not try to hide drawbacks like gas mileage. We at no time felt like he was pressuring us to buy; in fact I don't think he ever asked us to buy. As an ex-salesperson; Clay treated us as I tried to treat my customers! We really liked that and told him so! We placed a deposit on our unit that afternoon.
Regina Wadsworth was our Finance & Insurance Manager. Regina went far & beyond the "Call of Duty"! She gave us the information we needed contact & start the loan application with the Finance & Insurance company that we thought we wanted to use. She also contact some F & I companies that she had used in the past. Turns out that the companies she contacted gave us better deals than the one we have used for many years. Regina was again an outstanding & professional Business Manager!
We now know why Dixie RV is one of the largest Allegro Dealers in the Nation! We have an Allegro Dealer within 15 minutes of our home. We did not buy from them, because of a lack of inventory & a Sales Manager that pre-judged our pocket book. We bought from Dixie although we live over 300 miles from your store. Enough said! He represents the dealership to the highest regard. Seems as if there was a new F and I guy. But he did a wonderful job. Got through the process with no glitches. The Dixie RV sales team provided me with everything they promised. I respect the team that worked with me, from the receptionist when I walked through the door until I drove off the lot. If I ever have to return my product for a service call I would hope the service is as good. The sales team has set a standard for all others to strive for. I would recommend Dixie RV.
